week 12

The whole web 2.0 is so valuable for library staff, it will enable staff to be in the forefront of technolgoy and creates better customer service for our clients. I has also helped me with new and emerging technology, I now have a facebook account as well as a scond life account, Slideshare, google documents. library things, blog, flicker and delicous accounts, man I will be very busy keeping up with them all.

Absolutely love google documents, it allows for people to collobrarte on documents any where in the world.

podcasting will be a valuable tool for all libraries, it is one way to keep all clients informed as to what is happening in the library.

Yep I can see the possibilites for librry participation, this lets everyone know that libraries are professional and that we ore not just avaiable within the library, but online as well.

week 5

The SJCPL subject guide i thought was just okay, the Wisconsin heritage online was updated 2 months ago, however i liked the Mint Museum site and fooud it easy to use with the layout being easy on the eye, but really loved the book lovers wiki, this site was so easy to use.

week 4

Yep just finished week 4, it was fun looking up all of the rss feeds, founf some really relevant feeds that i have added to by blogspots.

4 The Love of Animals was one, I was looking for information on Rhodesian Ridgebacks and came across this site.

Comments on the Powehosue Museum, the library journal news, library stuff, ventura country star storeis and yahoo answers; books and authors will all come in handy in the work environment

week 3

Wow week three was really easy to do, I love the idea of using Flickr to share photos, but was wondering a little about the copyright issue, but see that it has been sorted out.

I can see the possibilities of using it in the library and feel conficent about showing clients how to use it.
